2025 Year in Review

As we close out another year, we want to take a moment to reflect,
celebrate, and say a sincere thank you.
This season marks a little over one year since SkilledTrades.com officially launched in September 2024, and what a year it has been. What started as a belief that the trades deserve a better hiring solution has grown into a platform and a community that is shaping the future of the industry.
When we opened the doors, we knew the trades needed something different. Something built with tradespeople, not just for them. In a short time, we have watched the number of active users grow month after month, client interest surge, and our Skilled Trades team expand with new talent and more Employment Specialists dedicated to serving you. Watching this momentum build has been one of the most rewarding parts of our first year.
"Pleasantly surprised by all five qualified candidates I have received from my job post on SkilledTrades.com. The post has only been up for eleven days, and the response so far is encouraging. I look forward to investing more in this recruiting tool in the future." – Heather S.
Most startups do not make it past their first year. Research shows that nearly twenty percent fail in year one and more than sixty percent never reach year three. We are still here and gaining speed because we are not just another tech company. We are a team with a passion for the trades, a belief in the people who keep the country running, and a commitment to building a hiring platform and a workforce pipeline that truly works. We are here to stay. Hammer Down.
This year we were honored to appear on five industry podcasts, giving us the chance to talk about the future of the skilled trades and the hiring challenges businesses are facing. In the coming year, our goal is to appear on even more podcasts so we can continue spreading the word about the mission behind SkilledTrades.com and the importance of strengthening the trades industry nationwide. We are also excited to share that we will be launching our own upcoming show titled Hammer Down presented by SkilledTrades.com. This podcast will feature real conversations with tradespeople, business owners, industry leaders, educators and innovators. We encourage everyone to follow us on social to stay updated on the launch and all future episodes.
"SkilledTrades.com has been a nice addition for us. Glad to have it and thanks for supporting our efforts where you have." – Scott M.
We also reached a significant milestone this year with SkilledTrades.org officially receiving nonprofit status. This is a major step for our long term vision. SkilledTrades.org will focus on inspiring and guiding the next generation of tradespeople by providing educational resources, career pathway information, and industry insights for young adults, students, parents and schools. We believe the work being built through this nonprofit will help expand the skilled workforce and support the industry far into the future.
This year, we have watched our clients fill roles more efficiently, reach qualified candidates with greater accuracy, and experience the value of true human support during the hiring process. Your feedback, your trust, and your wins have shaped our path every step of the way.
"Hiring feels human again. We found qualified candidates quickly and the support team actually cares. The SkilledTrades.com platform is a game changer for anyone in the trades." – Alex R.
Most importantly, we want to thank you. Our clients, customers, and partners have taken a chance on something new. You did not just sign up for a platform. You supported a vision. You helped lead a new way of hiring within the trades. Your belief in what we are building continues to fuel every update, every improvement, and every success story.
As we look ahead to 2026, our commitment remains the same. We will continue to improve, innovate, and champion the skilled trades at every level. The future of this industry is incredibly bright, and we are proud to be building it with you.
From all of us at SkilledTrades.com & SkilledTrades.org
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Hammer Down!
